PROPERTY DETAILS
-
Step inside and you are immediately drawn towards the extraordinary views of land, sea and sky through the generous glass doors and windows. The spacious open-plan, vaulted living space offers a selection of comfortable seating all carefully arranged to focus on the panoramic views that surround the house on all sides. The clever use of natural textures bring the outside landscape even closer. Blending sleek modern features with textural elements, the contemporary, well-equipped kitchen flows seamlessly from the living space. Expansive glazed doors slide open onto a large deck, which wraps around the font of the house, where you can comfortably contemplate the scenic waters. A natural landscape, with island grasses, rushes and wild flowers, drops away to the rocky shoreline with further seating and a fire pit for mellow evenings cooking and reclining beneath the stars.
A light filled corridor leads to two beautiful bedrooms both made up with luxurious soft linens. More expansive glazed doors lead onto a private deck where you can greet the sunrise. A modern ensuite with a wet room shower, with stunning sea views, a well-equipped house bathroom, with generous bath, and luxury towels and bespoke toiletries all complete the restorative, spa-like experience of this very special space. Artworks commissioned from local artisans, to compliment the interiors and the landscape, adorn the walls and fill the shelves. The centrepiece of the living space is a large wood burning stove which, alongside an air-source heat pump keeps this super-insulated, eco building, toasty on stormy days.

WHERE THE SEA MEETS THE SKY AND LIFE TAKES ON A SLOWER PACE
OUR STORY
After a childhood spent on island holidays and many summers spent exploring these wonderful Scottish isles, as a couple, it came as no surprise to us that our dream to build a house by the sea would bring us to this beautiful archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean.
